Daily planner or Organizer tools
In today's world technology is changing faster then we can speak. By this time tomorrow someone will have invented or written in code a new game, a new program or invented a new gadget. It would take me from now until the time I pass on to mention all the new features we have in our lives now. With that being said you can begin to understand that the tools I share are only a portion of the amount that can be found online.
I want to talk about Three tools in particular that can help in our everyday lives. You may already know about them. If this is the case then this article may not be for you. The three I wish to talk about are: 1. Evernote, 2. Timechamp.com and 3. Spaaze.
I will start off with Timechamp.com. I ran across this while searching for daily task organizer I can use online. Timechamp is a terrific program if your busy work day is hectic and you have a lot to keep track of. I have not used it myself but only because I wouldn't need all the features it has on it and therefore since it is not free, feel I don't need this planner. I did recommend it to friends who's business could use such a thing. What it is, simply put is an organizer. It's the page setup that caught my eye the most. With all you need to see all in one page in front of you. It shows your appointments/tasks, phone contacts, email contacts, etc..but it does so much more then visualize these things on a page. It's a time manager, task planner, group organizer, etc... all in one and as I mentioned before it's visually pleasing being everything you need to see to help your day is right there all on a single page. I also mentioned that I haven't myself used this site but would highly recommend it to the busy person that has emails to put out daily, things to get done and a contact list that drives you crazy. Take a quick glance at the demo and see what you think for yourself. @ http://timechamp.com/
If you are a busy mom there are organizers I have seen online that are great for you to keep track of who's taking the kids to soccer practice and so forth. I will be discussing those later and on my family blog (infoforfamilies.wordpress.com).
Now I wish to discuss Evernote. What is Evernote? It's your memory shared in all your devices. Share it between your smart phone, laptop or desktop, tablet. You have access to it from anywhere since it is both available for your use both on and offline. It's free. It's a place to help you plan your trips. Make a notebook, name it Trip, make a new note, make notes on the what where when why and how. Here's where Evernote comes in even handier for you. In your notebook you can include photo's of the place your going to, videos, websites for your airline or other information etc..... Evernote can help your kids for school, they can take notes, plan homework assignments, do research and post the notes, websites and video. They can even share what they learned with a friend or family member just by making the folder they are working with available to share and then telling Evernote who is allowed to see it. Evernote has so many functions, I couldn't even begin to name them all. If you have a smart phone there's even a app you can use to have fun with your photo's. There's plenty of apps to add to your Evernote. It has a button feature that you add to your toolbar, when you find a website you like, you can click on the Evernote button and have the website available to read there in the notebook you want it in. It's so much more then just a bookmark once you learn all that Evernote can offer. Take a look and you'll be hooked like I was. I use it for my writing notes, for research, for my blog notes, videos and websites even my recipes. Come see for yourself @ http://www.evernote.com/
Last but not least a program I found just earlier this evening called Spaaze. As a writer having a story board to look at is essential. I use a cork board to help keep track of the plot and where it is going. I am using Spaatz to organize my daily life. Although I can use Evernote for this, I just like the fun look of the cork board. The difference between this one and the one on the wall in my office is this one is infinite. Yes I said infinite, it uses infinite space. I just started using this today so I can't say alot about it just yet. I apologize for that but I don't apologize that it had me so excited that I couldn't wait to share it with those of you who do not know about it yet. I'm using it for task organizer, and daily planner. I'm sure you could think of a million uses for it yourself. I would recommend this also, so far I just love it. There are more sites to help you organize your life these are just a few. Keep checking back for more information on web tools. I will be doing a series on them.
